# VastAI.update_workers

Trigger a rolling update of all workers in a workergroup.

## Signature

```python theme={null}
VastAI.update_workers(id: int, cancel: bool = False) -> str
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="id" type="int" required>
  ID of the workergroup to update workers for.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="cancel" type="bool" default="False">
  Cancel an in-progress update for the workergroup.
</ParamField>

## Returns

`str`, Result from the API call.

## Example

from vastai import VastAI

client = VastAI(api_key="YOUR_API_KEY")
result = client.update_workers(id=12345)
print(result)
